Our practice is committed to protecting the health and well-being of all our patients. Vaccinations are one of the most effective ways to prevent serious illness, reduce the spread of infectious diseases, and safeguard our patients.

We ask all patients to remain up to date with recommended vaccines based on age, medical history, and current AAP guidelines. This includes routine immunizations as well as seasonal vaccines, such as influenza and other recommended boosters. We encourage all patients to review our vaccine schedule and review your child’s vaccine records prior to your next appointment.

We are committed to informed decision-making. For each vaccine, we will review the potential benefits as well as known risks and side effects, so we can partner in your child’s health. Our team is available to answer any questions and help you understand which vaccines are appropriate for you.

New England Pediatrics believe that vaccines are safe and effective but do understand patients may hear conflicting messaging. We encourage you to ask questions so we can address your concerns. We do work with families who want to come in more frequently so vaccines can be spaced out, with the understanding that your child will be up to date by their next visit. Families who choose to significantly delay or decline vaccinations despite counseling may be asked to seek care with another provider.

Staying current with vaccinations not only protects your child, but also helps protect those around you, including individuals who may be more vulnerable to illness. If you are unsure about your child vaccination status or need assistance scheduling immunizations, please contact our office. We are here to help you stay healthy and informed.

Thank you for partnering with us in prioritizing your health.
