I was born and raised in the tristate area. I spent the first 10 years of my life in Brooklyn, NY, after which my family moved to Stamford, CT. I always loved math and science, and I developed a strong interest in pediatrics through positive experiences with my 2 pediatricians growing up. I am a UCONN Husky, attending the University of Connecticut for my undergraduate and medical education. I completed my pediatric residency training at Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital. After residency, I completed a global health fellowship during which I received medical training in caring for vulnerable pediatric populations in low-resource settings. After completing my training, I transitioned to academic medicine for a few years, returning to Yale University as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, where I taught medical students and pediatric residents and cared for patients. Recently, I have decided to put down roots in this area for my own family, which has led me to transition to New England Pediatrics. There are many reasons I love what I do, but what I think is special about general pediatrics is the long-term relationships I get to build with caregivers and parents, and the opportunity to optimize a child’s health as they grow. I am so excited and grateful to serve the community I grew up in as a pediatrician.
