We accommodate your request for a specific physician whenever possible. Be sure to make the request when you schedule a well visit. In general, our physicians share patients so that care is never compromised should one doctor not be available.

We make every effort to keep your wait time to less than 20 minutes. However, on busy days, if we encounter unexpected emergencies, it may be longer. Upon arrival, please tell our reception staff if you are under extreme time pressure.

Stamford Hospital in Stamford, CT. For urgent care after hours, we recommend the Tully Center, weekdays from 8:00 am-8:00 pm and weekends from 8:00 am-6:00 pm located at 32 Strawberry Hill Court, Stamford, CT. For emergency care, we recommend the Stamford Hospital Emergency Room.

We ask families to register with and visit one office or the other. The exceptions are on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays when only one office is open for emergency visits.

We will see your child until 22 years of age. Once a child reaches age 18, he/she is legally considered an adult with regard to their personal health information. We will provide your teenager with an information packet that includes a Consent to Release Patient Information form. Without this signed consent form with parental designation, we are unable to discuss the patient’s care with parents.

Each New England Pediatrics physician has received three years of pediatric training at a major tertiary care medical center and is board- certified in Pediatrics. While we do not routinely have evening hours, during busy camp and school physical seasons, we will occasionally add extra late appointments in both locations. And one of our physicians is always on-call for urgent questions and emergencies after regular office hours.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday we are open from 8:15 am until 4:45 pm in Stamford and New Canaan. On Thursday Stamford is open from 8:15 am until 9:00 am then again 10:00 am -4:45pm at and New Canaan from 10:00-5:00 pm. A doctor is available for URGENT CARE on weekend and holiday mornings by appointment. We also offer newborn visits during these times as needed. Please call at 8:15 AM to request an acute care or newborn appointment. Walk-in hours (in Stamford ONLY) are Monday through Friday 8:15-9:00 am.
